Dudenly enlarged homescreen on iPhone 13 Pro

Twice now, something I did on the iPhone produced a very enlarged homesceen (I have a personalized one). Then I could not open the iPhone and could not get rid of the enlargement. The first time it was very annoying since I had to board an airplane and my iPhone used a very expensive connection. I could not even restart the iPhone since I was stuck at the home screen.

I do not know how I got rid of the enlargement of the home screen later.
