I believe Dr. Ford, but this allegation has more corroboration than hers. Two people have confirmed that she told them about the assault at the time. This is a legitimate and credible allegation of sexual assault.
yeah, a 52 y/o woman told trump to put on the lingerie himself and then let him into the dressing room where she for whatever reason decided to model lingerie for a complete stranger..............

I am sure her best friend therapist will be chiming in soon with therapy notes that don't exist or had disappearing ink used....

Having said that, Trump is a rich man pig and most rich man pigs think they can do whatever they please with woman.... Maybe something happened, I dunno but I doubt it's as she claims....

Sounds like mental illness wrapped in a low-budget Cinemax after hours flick.
She sounds like a lovely man hater..... After reading the article it sounds like every man she has ever met has wronged her... Meh, it takes all kinds I guess....

Does Skinemax still run their soft porn after hours?

Convenient that this drops 25 years later...and right after Trump announces his 2020 reelection bid...
Maybe she's disgusted of seeing him and had enough? Who knows.

But with reactions like these, its no wonder many wait to speak or never do. Cosby had a comedy special and a new show announced... were all of his accusers lying?

At any rate, true or not, its not likely to have any effect on Trump's base.

the attacks on women who speak out against their rapists is absolutely disgusting.

my Cousin worked her way up to be prominent lawyer in her firm. She was sexually assaulted violently. When she reported it, her firm stripped her name of her desk and blamed her. she was asking for it or it's "part of what you signed up for".

it's no wonder why women are terrified of speaking out. The act itself often ruins their lives as is. But speaking up seems to just double that up instead of you know, bringing the perp to justice.

Except we've known about his behavior towards women and girls for years and years. This is just another one on top of the pile.
He said "They let me do it"...

Not that it's right...but people letting you do something is different than being forced to do something.

It irritates me because there are *actual* cases of rape that aren't believed because of people like Dr. Ford who make up phony stories to take a cheap shot at a (at the time) potential Supreme Court justice.

I don't want to definitively say this didn't happen until we (if ever) know all the facts, but the timing is suspicious...

Donald Trump's version of "let" and others' may differ slightly. Not retaliating out of shock or fear isn't the same as giving permissions or consent.

I'm sure many have let him. He may have taken that as a pass. Just speculation, but I really don't see why this particular woman - who is not a nobody - would just make this up out of nowhere.

Then I assume you have facts that support her claim. Ya know because those of us who question it are disgusting and all that...

Show me some facts she was raped and I'll agree that those attacking her are disgusting..

There's one thing in questioning a story. But that's not what typically happens. Questioning the story often leads to personal attacks against the person.

In my example, "you knew what you were getting into when you became a lawyer" is absolutely attacking her. It's victim blaming. Becoming a lawyer as a woman doesn't suddenly mean she's open to forced sexual advances of others.

anyone who believes that should be behind bars.

in fact; the fact that you first jump to say it's BS story, without evidence of it being a BS story sorts of proves my point. You are immediately ready to blame the woman and take the accused side.

I don't know if this woman accusing trump si telling the truth. However, we've seen dozens of different women with different stories throughout Trumps life repeat unconnectedly similar tales.

So, is it just coincidence, or is there pattern of behaviour of Trump not respecting consenst?

the fact you immediately Trust trump over the accusers despite the history, really REALLY is telling about your own personal opinion on rape victims.

Here we go with the "facts" crap again. This thread by its nature is speculative, sheesh.
Sure until the other poster started accusing others of being disgusting because they question the story..

If the other poster wants to run around calling people disgusting then it must be based on facts that their behavior is such... Show the story factually true and I'll agree those attacking her are disgusting....
