Early 2011 MBP Disk Issues

2.2ghz Sandy Bridge/750gb/8gb

Running Sluggish, beachballs, and required booted from install disk (Twice.) Both times an error:

"Invalid Volume Free Block Count, 131520055 instead of 131520054."

Twice repaired. My "Safe & Sound" reasoning says I should wipe and do a clean install.

Any suggestions or work-arounds?

A clean install is probably your best option at this point.

Yup!

I figure if it's an underlying hardware issue, a clean install is a requirement before calling support.

(I really wish I had a better opinion of the local Genius Bar.)
