Emailing photos - Odd filename change in OS4 vs 3.X?

In Os 3.x, when you COPIED (not shared) your pics and pasted in an email - they would retain the file name and not be photo.jpg or image.jpg.

I just tried the same thing with my iPhone 4/OS4 and I'm getting image.jpg.

Did I miss something - or because they now give options on what size you want to send, you can no longer have it send with the actual file name

also interesting is that if you copy - the file is called image.jpeg. If you share via email it's called photo.JPG

Seems a bit sloppy naming convention to me (different extensions and caps + different file names).

Has anyone else noticed this? Anyone with 4.1 care to comment if this has been changed?
