16" MBP with everything fully maxed out.

When trying to figure out what could be behind my issues relating to the pkd and lsd processes, I noticed that Console is throwing tens of thousands of the same error. More bizarrely, I can't find any examples of other people online who have received the same error.

Anyone know what:

symptomsd Suspicious packet count 151 when bytes 1208 for flow 598647
Flow details for excess packet count <private>
[repeat forever]

relates to?

I have the same problem too. 2018 MacBook Air Retina.
Fresh reinstall of macOS Catalina (10.15.5). Nothing installed except apple numbers, pages and google chrome. After a few hours, I have an endless stream of
" error 09:41:36.901853+0300 symptomsd Suspicious packet count 121 when bytes 968 for flow 7434 "
and

"
error 09:45:08.399365+0300 symptomsd Flow details for excess packet count <private>
"

If I check Network Utility I see that the packages are sent via the Ethernet network interface.
This continues even after I turn off wifi

Exactly the same thing I was seeing. I don't know if I should trust it. It seems highly unlikely that the "suspicious packet count" you're seeing would be the same as mine.

Scratch that. Today's version is "Suspicious packet count 151 when bytes 1208 for flow 1442710"

Hello,
Yeah it changes every time. Meanwhile i have managed to revert back to macOS Mojave and I don’t have the problem anymore, and I am planning on staying on it until I get a fix.

I think it has to do with the Wallet and Apple Pay, when the encryption gets out of sync or something like that. I suggest verifying that the Wallet installed on your MacBook looks like it is in good shape. I think reviewing it System Preferences and checking that all the cards are still active should be enough.

I have noticed this in my console on Catalina (I'm trying to troubleshoot some SMB hang issues). Did anyone figure out what the issue was? Yes, I have Chrome installed. I did need to re-verify everything in Apple Pay, though, but the log messages still exist.
