Is anyone else getting endless “Upgrade to Wifi Calling” messages? Since I upgraded my iPad to iOS 13, it has asked me 100’s of times to upgrade to WiFi calling. I always click “yes” then “enable” then “use my location for emergency calling”. It then just asks the same questions again. It asked me over 5 times just while typing this message. It seems to come in bunches where I’ll get 20 or 30 prompts, and then it will stop happening for an hour or two.

My iPhone is an 11 Pro Max on iOS 13, and my iPad is a 2nd gen iPad Pro.

My daughter also has the same problem with her MacBook (which started happening after she got her iPhone 11).

I’m not sure if it is related to our network or not, but we are on T-Mobile.

One strange thing is that I can no longer find the WiFi calling settings on my iPad. I can go to Settings —> FaceTime and turn on “Calls from iPhone”. This allows my iPad to be the speaker / mic for calls when it is near my iPhone. I am pretty sure there used to also be a setting to turn on WiFi calling which allowed my iPad to do phone calls even when my iPhone was not near. T-Mobile is listed as one of the networks that allows this:
  • Wi-Fi Calling on supported iCloud-connected devices

It will always pop up those WiFi calling messages whenever you restart the device and then several times again afterwards. I think they gradually stop until you restart the iPad again.

Yes ... I have had them before, but this time is different. When I turned on my iMac this morning, I had 55 messages on my screen asking me to enable WiFi calling, and I had to click on each one to dismiss it. My iPad has prompted me several hundred times. And it still continues to do so.

I haven't had THAT many, but after first purchasing an Apple Watch I was getting a similar situation where I would get notifications over and over again about wifi calling being activated.

When I deactivated all my devices for a device swap, re-installed the OSes, and re-activated them, it finally stopped. Don't know if the OP figured it out, but that would be the first thing I'd try (probably not the reinstall, just deactivating everything then reactivating) to see if it resolves it.
