Apparently yes, since the site is hosted in the Netherlands, where it's legal, and the "use" of the site - at least, as I gathered from the story - is legal in the UK.

IIRC, it's the solicitation part of the deal that's illegal. You can't go out and find customers...but the handing over cash bit is OK. It's something that I've never really looked into
