ISIS is establishing training camps right in Europe and thanks to the EU's political elites, they have an almost endless supply of unaccompanied military-age males from which to recruit. It's going to be interesting to see how this all turns-out.

Thanks again for today's "Hate on the Muslims!" thread.

Stock up on guns and cast your vote for Donald Trump. That'll solve everything.

He's just baiting new ISIS recruits, and doing a pretty fine job of it.

If you can't tell the difference between a reasonable topic for discussion and self-interested, self-involved propaganda; then I can't help you.

You fail to properly identify your source (ie. the UK Telegraph) and you specifically leave out the most salient point:

Yes: There is no actual evidence that ISIL is sneaking terrorists into Europe disguised as refugees - but it might happen. To which you decide to editorialize that this is somehow the fault of European "political elites."

Almost eight hundred Americans have been killed in gun violence since the start of this year. An entire city was poisoned due to the reckless indifference of its state and local government.

Scanning the 'net every day for evidence that scary Muslims are the biggest threat to American (or European) civilization is ridiculous. Its tiresome. And its frankly delusional.

It's not training. It's just the call to prayer. Embrace diversity.

    I was being sarcastic.

In case you hadn't noticed, one of our forum regulars has embarked on a campaign to remind us all, every day, of the wicked things Muslims are up to - usually in Europe.

    Trump is one guy.

Muslims are an entire religion. A billion or so people; including more than three million of our fellow Americans. A minority that has reported a growing level of threats, violence, intimidation and discrimination from Americans, whipped into a frenzy of outrage and hate by elements in the news media - plus a few political and entertainment demagogues.

If someone decides to dislike Donald Trump, or to boycott his casinos - he's got himself to blame. If someone sets fire to a Mosque, or firebombs a falafel stand because they don't like Muslims - thats something we need to take responsibility for.

Spreading hatred and fear of Muslims is particularly counterproductive. Especially if you want to fight terrorism and groups like ISIS. Young muslims in the US (and elsewhere) who are subject to bigotry, hatred and fear are far more prone to radicalization. Groups like ISIS use the perception that Americans are anti-Muslim as a recruiting tool.

Terrorism on the part of ISIL is a serious problem. Its worth discussing, and its worth the attention of our security forces. But a constant diet of "look what the bad Muslim migrants have done in Europe" doesn't do anyone any good. Its like discussing traffic safety with a guy who only reports Honda Accord crashes.
