Excess in Government: An Example

    okay so i understand that its tradition. thats fine. but here is a clear example of things that are certainly not "needed" in our government. i don't mind the presidential one at all to be honest, because at least that makes some sense to me, as tradition. but the other cabinet members and the like: unnecessary in every which way.

    I can certainly see one for the President and VP but cabinet members, agency heads and first ladies- a complete waste of money.

    Not only should we halt this process, we should auction off the portraits of past cabinet members. What a waste.
