I see they just released Beta 4.

Do any of your old-timers have a feel for how long it may be until we get a public release of 10.14.2? Is it common to go on to beta 5,6,7 for example?

From what Ive seen there are no new features coming just spit and polish.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately thats not gonna be soon enough for me. My macbook pro shipped with 10.14 and in terms of OS fit and finish I would put it on about the same level as Ubuntu, which is to say: "It all sort of works, but any non-trivial task and many trivial tasks will end up with you at google trying to figure out what went wrong".

Simple updates of the OS and it's apps using the prompts the OS gives me are failing with a brand new laptop with no additional software installed for example.

I hope Mojave eventually gets to being "more or less OK". God knows you deserve it for what you paid.

I’m still running 10.14(.0) and aside from sleep issues (very broken) it’s running like a champ. Far more stable than High Sierra. Night and day difference.
