I'm heading to NY next week and want to buy a Refurb MBP. I figured the easiest way to still use my CC, is to head to 5th Avenue and buy a gift card to the value of the MBP (£1088 w/ Tax) then purchase the MBP online and use the gift card as payment.
Does anyone have any experience with the gift cards online? Can you ship to an address in your address book? I presume because no CC is involved they don't need a 'billing address' as such?
I know this seems a little convoluted but I think it will be the only way to still use my UK CC!
