Exposé tip

    Bear with me if you already knew this, but after a few of years with OSX I've only just found it out (accidentally!)

    As in finder, where you can use the space bar to quick-look at files, you can do the same in Exposé - hover over one of the windows and hit the space bar to get a full-sized view of it!

    It's not the same function as quick look. It's the same function as clicking on a window in Exposé. It doesn't "quick look" or preview the window, remaining in Exposé. It exits Exposé, the same as if you clicked on the window.

    OP - thanks for the tip.

    Hmm... it works for me (10.6.4) - remains in Exposé, enlarges the chosen window, but leaves the other Exposé windows in the background and the rest of the screen dimmed as usual.

    Might be a new function in SL. Doesn't do that in 10.5.8.

    You must be right. My Leopard machine works as you said. So, Snow Leopard only for this tip.
