EXS Instruments in GB?

Does anyone use EXS Instruments (Logic) in GarageBand? Logic 7 can play GB instruments, so there should be a way to use EXS in GB.

from what i know the mac music pogrammes only work upwards eg gb loops work in logic pro. I dont think they work the other way.

Garageband can use any AU plug-in installed on your machine, I use Altiverb in GB occasionally...

The ESX24 sampler should turn up in you instrument lists if you have Logic installed on your machine, how well it'll work is another question.

No, select the EXS module as you would a standard instrument and then navigate to the library with the EXS file menu, just like you would in Logic.

Yes!!! you can use EXS Instruments in GB. For each instrument you will have an instrument file with the suffix .exs and a fiolder with the samples for the instrument. Place the .exs file and the samples in the Sampler Instrument and the Sampler files folders in the Library/Application support/GarageBand/Instument Library/Sampler/ Directory. Your Exs will now show up as software instruments in GB.
Simple as that.
I will happily trade you walking you through the procees fo a decent trumpet exs instrument.

The EXS24 will not show up in GB as it is not an Audio Units plugin. It is coded into Logic. The ESXP24 is an AU plug.
