Facebook 16-18% high cpu

    Not sure why but FB is using a lot resources, also not sure why it is indicated ad plugin icon not with safari
    This happen only when FP tab is on focus

    Same here. It's all the scripts and stuff that run on the website. They soak up CPU usage and chew battery life.

    Ironically, Logic Pro X runs smoother on my 2012 15" MBP than a Safari tab running Facebook. I'm not even exaggerating. It's unusable on my machine.

    not sure why is displaying the plugin icon instead safari icon

    The Safari icon is still here, it marks the Safari process. Safari spawns new processes for each tab for security reasons, it's called "process isolation" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Process_isolation , the "Web browsers" part). The child processes don't have the Safari icon because, well, they aren't Safari (from the user point of view).
