Facepalm.. drowned my iPhone bc of the Apple Watch

I am so stupid... I woke up from a nap and held my old iPhone 5 under water to clean it in the bath room. I was checking the time on my Apple Watch at the same time so my head went like: APPLE WATCH IS WATER RESISTANT and held my iPhone under the running water ### thank god I wasn't holding my iPhone 6 at that time

no but i was eating chips and watching betflix before i fell asleep so my iphone was full off nasty chips fingers so i wanted to wash it off like i normally do but instead i held the whole device under the running water #

True, but unless you sweat like a pig, making it a habit of washing your wash after each nap sounds strange. But the OP clarified he was eating chips so it makes sense.

yeah i never backed it up to my computer, been two months since i got my phone. 2 days since i got my watch. i may copy you by accident
