there you go gays are the new birth control.

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins warned yet again on Wednesday that he fears for the future of humanity if gays and lesbians are allowed their rights, saying he believes that equality for people in same-sex relationships is part of a conspiracy by people who believe in global warming.

Perkins made the comments in response to a caller on his Washington Watch radio show who said he suspected LGBTI rights were ‘promoted … because it doesn’t lead to reproduction.’

‘There’s this anti-life agenda, there’s a total anti-human, anti-life, “human beings are a virus,” type of mentality,’ the caller said.

Perkins told his caller that his suspicions were ‘absolutely correct’ and that he had warned before about how ‘climate change alarmists and those who are pushing population control … promote homosexuality’ because ‘there’s no procreation there.’

‘They deny it but the evidence is there, it’s footnoted in my book.’

This is not the first time that Perkins has made outrageous claims around this subject.

The Family Research Council are right-wing evangelical freaks.

The entire nation is rejecting everything they believe in and hold dear. Their paroxysms of frustrated, impotent rage are a sincere pleasure of mine.

Maybe in your area, but here in Erie. This year at the St Patrick we had a gay float, also you can not be fired if you gay (but there are exceptions :( )

How bad is it at State Collage, is it really that bad?

Technically I agree, although I often skip reading the articles that you link (no offence, I just don't find it too rewarding to read about one more "religious" freak) and scroll down to the comments right away - that's where it gets scary - it is pretty crazy what people post under their real Facebook identity. "Praise the lord, gays burn in hell" - the optimist in be used to hope that stuff like that was written by trolls but discovering that these people are your average (?) house-wife driven into such outbursts by some "god" fear... pretty scary (and entertaining, I admit).

Come on...there are people idiotic enough to believe this.

I once read a forum post from a guy who said we actually need to start polluting more, because trees need carbon dioxide to live and if we stopped polluting, all of the trees would die, and then what would be do? Yes....there are people that stupid.

If only that was "all they want"... But no, they also want to ban the sale of contraceptives to unmarried couples, outlaw pornography, keep atheists and agnostics out of the Boy Scouts, and make it significantly harder to obtain a divorce.
