Favorite OSX Hacks?

Hey folks

I'm a recent uprade to OS X, and my absolute, biggest complaint was the crappy speed of my unsupported trackball (no better than my mouse). Then I read about a way to increase maximum mouse speed and I am very happy.

So the question is what is your favorite tweak to OSX?

iBook hack

i haven't done this yet, but i have instructions to change the enter key on a iBook to another command key. i'll probably try it one day. i think i found it on ResExellence.

all I've done is the transparent dock....

I'm not too keen on hacking X so much since I know absolutely nothing about Unix...

im still over here wanting to be able to put a custom pdf in my dock....but im stuck.
