    The salmon runs have been dwindling in the pacific northwest for a long time now, global warming combined with damming it all up has made them scarce. It's sad really, when I was a kid here there were salmon and stealhead in most of the rivers and tributaries, today not a single one of those places have runs anymore.

    I would imagine they'd go together pretty well. Both legal here.

    I haven't smoked a bowl in almost a year and a half, and I've got brisket downstairs waiting for the smoker.
