And that's why our elections are run by independent agencies.

Thats not voter fraud, thats the democratic process.

What what shown in the Project Veritas is actual voter fraud traced all the way back to Hilary Clinton.

Sounds like they've been doing more than just talking about it for quite some time.

No, it's fraud, according to due process (ongoing, of course).

Odd. Seems like most times Republicans enact the "democratic process", a court has to step in to correct them. Why do the Republicans hate the democratic process?

Should we continue to allow people to vote when they are already dead?

Let's also remember the RNC is operating under a consent decree.

To put things in perspective about who these people are, Rep. Jan Schakowsky is like Mike Madigan, she has a strong hold on her district. When Trump talks about his supporters and how he could could kill someone and they'd still vote for him, that's Jan. She could kill someone, do a nickle in Marion and come back and win the district 68 to 28.

    Yep, O'Keefe has no credibility.

I would say that should O'Keefe actually uncover some members of the Democratic party who are violating election laws those people should be prosecuted.

Unlike many Republican governors, I actually care about the sanctity of the vote and am uninterested in gaming the process for my own political ideology.

You realize that wouldn't work. Just because you cast a ballot does not meant that your vote will be counted. The vote is compared against voter registration roles and it takes about three weeks for most elections to be certified as accurate by county and state officials.

So, busing in a bunch of people to Wisconsin only makes sense if that vote can somehow be validated.

It's also worth noting that Republicans have largely ignored potential voting problems, like the fact that some deceased people remain on the roles, while creating legislation designed to disenfranchise thousands of people.

I've said this agains and again. The way to protect against voter fraud is to strengthen the audit processes in the voter registration system and ensure that election officials can check and cross-check votes.

Everything else is either worthless theater, or a devious assault on voting rights.

Speaking of the new Republican bugbear: dead people voting.

    From FactCheck.org:

Unlike the 1960s where Democrats regularly attempted to use dead people for vote, the modern registration system makes this very difficult.

And, let's assume for a moment that all 953 votes in South Carolina's 2010 election were fraudulent. That might subvert a local election, but Sen. Jim DeMint's threshold over his Democratic challenger was more than 446,000 votes. Gov. Nikki Haley's threshold over her challenger was more than 50,000 votes. Republican challenger Mitt Romney took the state in 2012 by nearly 206,000 votes.

Fraudsters would need armies of people intending to subvert the election to gain any ground in a national election.

Trump should stop whining about voter fraud because he, like many conservatives, keeps bringing up the specter of voter fraud while supporting voter suppression. Both are kinds of rigging and both are pernicious threats to Democracy, but Republicans are comfortable protecting and supporting one kind.

Now, someone will shoot back that Democrats like to commit voter fraud—citing some historical precedence like dead people voting in Chicago—but modern voting systems and computerized registration systems make the previous kinds of fraud more difficult, such that there are very few signs of voter fraud.

However, voter suppression has a much larger, and more real effect, by keeping thousands of people from voting.

Courts and researchers agree with me here.

Republicans do not commit voter fraud such as giving bus rides to illegal voters and using dead people to register fake voters. Republicans are too busy working.
