It's not just Hillary, he's also taking on the DNC and its leadership in a campaign that he has absolutely no chance of winning. I've always liked Bernie but now he's losing it, looking like the angry old man screaming get off my lawn.

People can talk about how he could beat Trump all they want but that fact is he's never faced any attack ads the way Hillary has, as soon as they opened the flood gates he would start to tank. He's been lucky that nobody's taken him seriously and anyone doing the math can understand way.

So if DWS goes down then what?

Nice of you to parrot the Hillary camp talking point of the day (attack ads), been seeing that exact wording popping up all weekend.

So what if he's an angry man that is screaming on the lawns. What comes out of Bernie's mouth is original material and not fakery like the two other puppets on show.

Actually, I said this last week before ever hearing Hillary say it http://forums.macrumors.com/threads...illary-step-down.1973697/page-3#post-22923767 In fact, I first heard it today on the news as was glad she finally said something. She's 100% right.

DWS deserves to go down. She makes Reince Priebus look competent and he presided over the greatest **** show in the history of US politics.

Bernie is done and all he's doing now is helping to get Trump elected. He failed to beat the most hated and flawed candidate ever to run for President, likely because he's a one issue candidate, or at least is perceived that way.

By all means. Show how many times it has been posted. You can't handle the fact she is not much different from republicans when it comes to war.

Here's what I don't get about the Hillary supporters. They say that Bernie's goals are unattainable (regardless of what the rest of the world shows works), but do they ACTUALLY WANT THOSE ENDGOALS? Is Hillary their choice because she's the middle ground towards the idea of universal healthcare, and college as a right of citizenship? I don't understand the vitriol against a guy with a vision for better while Hillary supporters keep saying they want to get halfway there.

They keep saying Hillary can work with the GOP...a party that has been rabidly against her for 20+ years. Does that mean they understand that to get a deal she's going to have to compromise? IF SO, why not start your negotiating demands further towards the universal end, instead of the Obama route which is to start off at the bare minimum asked by the populace only to negotiate it down to yet another deal that give the GOP most of what they want?

If I'm asking for $100 and expected to get a deal at $75, why the **** would I start my negotiations with those that want to give $0 at $75 and get $25 at best? I don't understand this middling tactic.

He hasn't faced the attacks Hillary is because he isn't a criminally corrupt mouthpiece for big business, leaking state secrets, deleting tens of thousands of incriminating documents, changing his position on key issues on a whim, etc.

It's a lot easier to not face those attacks when you have some measure of integrity.

The people supporting the ad talking point are of the same mindset that the American people are still going to be spooked by attack ads conflating communism and democratic socialism. They believe that the second a GOP ad runs a hammer and sickle (sp?) America is going to collectively **** its pants and vote for the authoritarian instead.

It's basically saying that they need to go with hillary because the American people are too stupid to recognize an attack ad for what it is. Why the DNC always caters to Fox News octogenarians is beyond me.

Is this the part where you claim Bernie is a commie because he went to Russia to visit a sister city? Or the part where you say he never held down a corporate job?

Actually, I like Bernie and his message. It's most of his supporters that have a scorched earth policy.

If that's the case can you respond to my comment earlier:

"They keep saying Hillary can work with the GOP...a party that has been rabidly against her for 20+ years. Does that mean they understand that to get a deal she's going to have to compromise? IF SO, why not start your negotiating demands further towards the universal end, instead of the Obama route which is to start off at the bare minimum asked by the populace only to negotiate it down to yet another deal that give the GOP most of what they want?

I'm honestly looking for an explanation (not an argument). It seems like Hillary and Bernie supporters want the same thing, just to different degrees. Understanding that there will have to be some type of compromise, why not start negotiations further towards the end of the goals you're actually seeking rather than to water down your position before you even get to the table?

There are plenty of other possibilities when it comes to Sander's poll leads and Clinton's high unfavorability. Have you considered that people just don't like her nor trust her?

He's always looked like that to me. I really don't get the facination with him. Sure he has a good message, but the messenger himself is so incredibly flawed. Right idea, wrong person. All the constant anger is a total turn off to a voter like me. It should be noted that I wouldn't vote for the local "get off my lawn" guy for mayor in my city either. Cranky just doesn't do it for me no matter who is doing it.
