Anyone else think this FineWoven material is gonna look and feel great for about 5 minutes before the slightest bit of oil and dirt stains it and ruins the texture? I'm really skeptical about this material's longevity.

Just got mine delivered today, 15 max , black, not too thrilled, seems flimsy, much worse than the old Apple leather and is definitely going to be hard to keep clean,got fingerprints on it just taking it out of the box,plus the Apple logo seems to be printed on.
The whole point of the case is to protect the phone and keep it clean, not be some kind of fashion statement to strangers that your case is fingerprint free.

I agree, but it does seem to be more flimsy than the previous leather.
I am not surprised. I think anyone expecting the same durability will be disappointed. That is the direction we are headed, though.
Why would Apple discontinue the leather case? That’s ridiculous! Bring back the leather cases from iPhone 11 days please.
I ordered the Pacific Blue FineWoven case for the 15PM, but I am not sure I will keep it based on the quality seen in your pictures. Every time I hear “suede-like feel” I am more and more worried about what to expect from this product.
Definitely, what is most troubling is the fact it feels so fragile, I bet the lip around the case is half the thickness of last year’s leather.
Finally some real pictures!! Thanks! Although this may confirm me going silicone. Looks like that material won’t hold up long.
Thank you for the photos, I’m not impressed with the look of that compared to the old leather cases and it doesn’t look like it will last for as long. I’ll maybe get the silicon version this time or a good third party case.
Yeah I agree. The quality is not the same as the leather. I will send mine back if it shows early signs of wear and tear.

Mine arrived and contrary to the opinion here I like it.
The bits of dust you see rub off easy with your finger. I purposely added some lint/specs by dabbing it on my shirt and a cushion, picked up a few specs but gone with a few gentle swipes of my finger.
You can't see the texture of the sides with the naked eye.
Feels nice in the hand, more like very fine velvet than suede. The front edge has a small lip similar to the leather, one of my dislikes of the Apple cases is the exposed metal frame around the edge. Looks like this will be the same, maybe the different design makes it less. We'll see.
As it's polyester it should clean easy enough with a damp microfibre cloth for those with that concern. Again, we'll see.
How it wears if dropped is another thing we'll find out later when the inevitable happens to someone. The leather & silicon Apple cases didn't do well there either though.

Looking forward getting mine tomorrow or saturday. I ordered the mulberry color. From what I saw online the actual colors again do not match anything near what Apple shows on their website. Is it so difficult to show the correct color? At least they could include some lifestyle pictures showing how it looks under normal lighting conditions.
I still don't know how I feel about these. If anything, I would probably get the black. I always liked Apple cases but this choice of materials.....ehhhh. It will be interesting to see how these hold up.
Well, if mine gets grubby after a few days and isn’t cleanable them I will return it.
