I know we have a Houston thread, but there are 3 Apple stores in the area haha.

So, this is for people going to the First Colony Mall store.

I'll be going by the mall after I leave Baker Street in town center Wednesday night and if the line is long I'll be waiting then. If not, I'll be coming back at 7 or so.

I'll be here likely around 11, unless I decide to go to Radio Shack instead.

I was there for the 3G launch - I'll be getting there early

I was number 9 in line at the 3g launch - We got there at 5am. What was nice is that they offered us drinks (starbucks and water) I'm hoping they do the same.

Even so, unless some of you are posting early lines the night before I should be there around 4:30-5am. I'll be the one with the frisbee that no one seems to appreciate.

I have pre-ordered because at 6:30am on pre-order day I could not get the system to acknowledge that I wanted a delivery... Looks like some of my friends say that their ship date is JUNE 23!!! I'm not sure I'll appreciate the line as much if my friends get one the day before in the mail...

Are you going to be outside the entrance nearest to the apple store? A frisbee sounds great. Lmao.

I feel you on the shipping thing. I had to get mine reserved!

The system would only let me reserve mine, so I'll be there early Thursday morning. Does anyone know if, since I have a family plan and 2 out of the 5 iPhones on my plan qualify for an upgrade, I can pick a second one at the same time as the first? The system would not let me make another reservation so I'm hoping so.

I'll be the guy decked out in NASCAR gear. I will appreciate the frisbee. I'll be there around 7am or so.

Probably not related, but I was first in line for the iPad 3G. I got there at 7 am... no one else got in line until 9:30 or 10. LOL

This launch should be nuts though.

LOL that's pretty nuts. I'm sure you were happy that you didn't have to wait for that long!

Are you going to this launch or did you pre-order yours for shipment to your house??

This was frustrating for me as well. I reserved one under my .me account and one under my wife's .me account. Will they let me pick up both because they are under the same AT&T account? Will she have to be present? (I think so). I think they are asking folks to bring ID's, SS#'s and $ because they want a per-person allocation out there.

    Neither... :(

I'm waiting because my company may no longer support iPhone and until that's settled, I don't want to buy another.

The line was about 10 people long when I went in. There was about 15 when I left.

I heard a rumor that there may be two separate lines forming - one for pre-orders and one for non-pre-orders. Can anyone confirm?
