couldn't she simply vote in 2020 and wait? I mean, it's just a year away.

    Wack-A-Doodle! 100%!

Maybe as part of her TDS diagnosis she can get a gubment provided emotional support squirrel?

If not then maybe in the future screaming at the sky is a better option than stabbing herself?

Trump is probably thinking “She is a nasty woman”. Sad, she harmed herself over her hatred of Trump. There should never be a need to harm oneself or others over hatred or difference of opinion from others.

She stabbed herself. She doesn’t want Trump to be president. Therefore,

    it’s Trump fault.
    (should be sarcasm)

This is less Trump news and more just your typical day in Florida. Why does Florida pop up so much when it comes to absurd news? That's a rhetorical question.

Technically not true. The state has a lot of delegates up for grabs, but individual votes in such states carries less voting power.

    Yep.

Just like how gun owners are accused of being mentally ill for wanting to own firearms.
Let’s face it, if the shoe was on the other foot, you’d be making fun, too.

Who on MR has ever claimed that all gun owners are mentally ill?

There is zero chance of that, and are you suggesting that a woman who stabbed herself repeatedly with a knife because she doesn’t like Trump is not mentally ill? The article even says that she had previously been subject to an involuntary institutionalization.

I am not an American and I disagree with most if not all of Trump's policies, but I'm so goddamn tired of his opponents' antics and clusmy campaigning that I can't help rooting for him in 2020.

This is a sentiment many share. Interesting to see the amount of people who will vote for him out of spite/being sick and tired of the tds.

I suppose she could have gotten a gun and shot up a school instead. We need more mental health care. Period.

    Literally everything the opposition does.

    Exaggeration.
The continuous abuse of the word "fascist" (the stories I heard from my father about actual fascism do not resemble very much the 21st century US).
Really clumsy campaigning from the last Democrat candidate.
Campaigns based on really cringeworthy virtue-signaling.
College students organizing ridiculous protests for inane reasons.
And, of course, all the really cringeworthy media attention awarded to that one really cringeworthy young middle-class representative.
The videos, the tweets, the goddamn comic books featuring her likeness.

And don't get me started on celebrities opposing Trump because, well, it would be "like shooting on the red cross", as we say in my home country.

I have been very, very left wing for most of my life - and I mean for an European, we had a well-loved Communist Party that used to rake in 30% of votes no more than 30 years ago and that only recently quietly died of a natural death.

But Jesus, I root for Trump.
I can't stand all the middle-class virtue signaling and deliberate attempts at polarizing the public opinion of the American left.
