You know social conservatives are getting desperate when they start feeling the need to fly banners over Orlando "warning" people that the gays are in Walt Disney World. Newsflash: It's Disney...gays are there 365 days a year!!! Who do you think is entertaining you in all those parades and serving you in all those restaurants? Yeah, they might be portraying a straight prince on some of those floats, but a lot of those guys ain't so straight. lol

Ain't that the truth. I've never been to Gay Days in WDW but then again... I'd have nothing red to wear! D:

There seems to be a lot of what I call "sky vandalism" over Disney World. The nearby "Holy Land" always puts up cloud messages and now this... Kinda hurts the Disney experience due to this bullying.

Nah, Disneyland is the gayest place on Earth, Disney World is hot and humid, bleh.

My friend has repeatedly turned down a Disney talent scout because he is worried about the other kind of gay, and Justin Bieber (that and Disney owns your soul if you sign up with them), but don't worry he supports gay marriage.

Eh, I meant in the sense of why even bother posting it?

They got their attention at Disney World. Why give it to them here as well?

I'm starting to be wary of all associations that claim to be related to "family" or "family values." Why don't they just say Christian.

Buzz words are but cloaks, to hide their true purpose.

Language is a bitch, but it's all we have. ;)

I think it's extremely important for people to see things like this. Many times a lot of people don't understand just how far others will go to hurt us.

I mean, what if they flew a banner that said: "Warning, Blacks at Disney World"? How are these people able to get away with this crap? It's absolutely insane.

Well tell him that he wouldn't want to work for Cedar Point. They hire gays (and straights) and they own your ass while you are under contract.

How do I know this? Because I've worked at Cedar Point off and on thought years.

On real hot days and the lines are really long, it's not uncommon for a fight to break out at Cedar Point. I have no idea what starts these, but it happens from time to time. :/

Oddly enough, I live within a half hour of Disney World, and we once took the kids there during "Gay Days".

Other than having to come up up with an explanation of the term "Fag" and "Hag", it was a complete non-issue.

Everyone was extremely well behaved, and we had a great day.

I'm surprised no-one called the FAA out on this one, let alone got someone to escort them down and jailed, especially with the permanent TFRs over Disneyland and DisneyWorld:

    http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_9_4985.html

While they could call for a waiver, I doubt this would qualify as such. Also, I bet anything that if a larger picture of this was found, the registration number of the aircraft could be looked up at FlightAware, and the owners discovered.

This was a damnfool thing to do, and it could come back to bite those who did it.

I find that banner remarkably childish. "Oooo, look out, the gays are after you!" How friggin' stupid.

I would like to think that anyone who doesn't belong to the religious right would have a similar reaction. Be ironic if most people who saw that banner with their families used it as a "teachable moment" for their kids. "See, children? This is how stupid prejudice really is."

I already am wary of them. "Family values" or "Christian values", when used in a political context, are usually code language for "bigot values".

"WARNING: PEDO DAY AT DISNEYLAND - EVERYDAY" would have value. ;)

They only give out a limited amount per day and ride. It's a first comes first serves kid of deal.

You can, however, request a VIP tour to get you through the entire park(s) without waiting. :)

It's pretty obvious that wasn't a real "warning." No anti-gay organization would ever advertise "Gay Day" in such a way!

That's blatant advertising by a gay organization, who thinks they're being very clever.
