Hello, two weeks ago I purchased a Wireless FM Transmitter w/Multi-Channels, model #3183, by PPA International. It's virtually identical to the Belkin TuneCast II FM Transmitter for MP3 Players. I use it with my little MP3 player to play music in my car stereo. It works fine except for one problem. When the MP3 player ends one song and starts the next, my car stereo losses its "Stereo" indicator between changes and makes a loud pop or crack sound when the "Stereo" indicator returns for the next song. This occurs if the change for my MP3 player takes longer than 5 seconds. I also tried my CD boombox inside my car with its radio going and it also losses its "Stereo" indicator and then makes a pop when the "Stereo" returns. Next, I hooked up the transmitter to my stereo CD boombox (removing the little MP3 player), also inside my car, and if I press play on the CD boombox and then make the CD skip forward in tracks for more than 5 seconds, my car stereo will also lose the "Stereo" indicator. When the CD boombox starts playing again, the car "Stereo" indicator returns and makes a loud pop again. Is this losing of the "Stereo" indicator for both my car stereo and my boombox normal or is it just with this particular FM transmitter? The FM frequency I am using is completely clear and has NO NOISE at all. I am thinking of buying the Coby CA-738 Wireless FM Transmitter and trying that instead. If someone who uses a higher-end model could tell me if the above behavior is normal for all FM Transmitters, I would appreciate it. If someone who owns the Coby CA-738 Wireless FM Transmitter could tell me if this behavior occurs I would also appreciate it. Thanks in Advance.
