    My setup is as follows.

-Mac Mini connected to LG 47LE8500 via minidisplay to hdmi adapter
-PS3 used only for games and blueray connected to the same tv via HDMI
-Receiver connected to the same TV via component (I believe? whatever gives me 1080 is what im using. cant check right now as im in the process of moving and havent brought the receiver over to the new house yet).

Now, I recently bought the Focal XS stereo system and want to use it with my TV regardless of what Im doing (media center, ps3 or watching tv). I connected it with a headphone cable from the headphone output jack on my tv to the aux in port on the stereo system. However, the sound is quite low and googling a bit has let me find out that the headphone output on TVs have their own amp which lowers the volume. Is this correct? Is there a better way for me set this up? The Focal system only has an aux in port, but the TV has both headphone out and optical out. Thanks for any advice.
