Wow- do these people really think no one hears their side on a daily basis? Do they really think that no one knows what they think about us? I'm sorry- there is only one side to this story, the truth. And what the preach is far from it. After the recent rash of suicides, you'd think these people would be decent enough to tone it down a bit. I guess not. Fear is a powerful thing.

People need to start calling these people what they are- liars.

I'm a Christian and I will openly admit that I do not agree with same sex partnerships. That being said:

They are only hurting themselves. They need to let the Day of Silence occur and respect the people even if they disagree with them. Then they can do what they feel is necessary on a separate day. Let them express their opinions of their rights and leave them alone.

I think a lot of Christian groups are so threatened that they'd rather interrupt rather than listen and then state their opinions or witness. It's disheartening because it makes a lot of us look foolish.

I'd be interested in hearing what their "facts about homosexuality" are.

The only "fact" that I'm sure of is that it exists.

But I'm sure they were able to conjure up a few more.

At least you can say that.

Go to Focus on the Family's website. You'll be chilled to the bone. It's worse than a horror film.

    Knee-jerk

It really does make them look juvenile and "na-na-na-na-nana" childish.

That being said, I don't think a school is a place to instill social change, it is a place to teach children reading riting and rithmetic, but whatever. Tinker v Des Moines was not a good ruling, and I remember all of those bogus "day of (whatever)" in highschool that did little more than disrupt the academic environment.

But Focus on the Family really should keep their mouths shut rather than trying to rain on other peoples parades in a childish knee-jerk manner.

Yeah thats what I thought as well.... What facts??? It exists.... Beyond that, I am not sure what facts they have...

No. It is usually used in a derogatory fashion.

Welcome to the tipping point, where ideologues become so entrenched that they become certifiable, like PETA opposing wildlife photo calendars as exploitative pornography or the NRA vociferously supporting the rights of mentally retarded paroled felon sociopaths to own bazookas.

Is there any way I could become a paid consultant to specifically let organizations like this know when they have become cartoons of themselves? I'd retire a billionaire off the Tea Party alone.

No, that would be "Bent as a Nine Pound Note".

Awww. Are the poor persecuted Christians unable to get their discriminatory antiquated nonsense across?

My heart would bleed, but of course being A Ghey™ I obviously don't have one :p

Shouldn't that be "Bent as a Nine Bob Note"?

Or have you allowed for inflation? ;)

For them, the salient fact is simply "it's icky".

Actually, you're right. But nine bob doesn't get you much "bent" these days. :)

What I want to know is, what exactly the 'gay agenda' is. They keep tossing that out, but the never explain it. :/

No offense to those that follow the christen faith, but you guys have some real nut jobs there. :/
