I want some good fonts. Free and/or pay to use is fine by me, I just need to know a place to look. All the places I've looked I've come up short, and I figure this is the best place to ask. Any ideas?
http://www.macoszones.com Free font each week, archives of previous fonts and links to the sites that make them and have more free fonts. http://www.fonts.com Fonts that you have to buy, tool to help you find a font that is the same or similar to a typeface you have seen elsewhere.
These two sites have some of the finest typefaces in the world. You'll have to pay but you won't be disappointed with the quality. The aforementioned http://www.fonts.com has most of the rest. http://www.adobe.com/ http://www.itcfonts.com/
depends what you want. if you're after comic fonts, or blackletter fonts, there's heaps of free sites out there. there's just too many, you'll have to Google it.
Why not go to the best? top retail but they did invent (don't go there, I know its a long story) postscript and now Opentype technology. http://www.adobe.com/type/main.jhtml
Thanks everybody, I really appreciate it. I guess I should have pointed out what I am looking for. I'll be doing some t shirt design in a few weeks, and I want to maximize my options I suppose. Funksy stuff, classic stuff, you name it. I'l check out all the links listed above. Thanks again!
myfonts.com is my favorite in conjunction with their whatthefont iphone app... you can upload pictures of text and it'll find similar fonts. Pretty much my only one-stop-font-shop these days.
Don't forget Linotype.com. As their slogan says, The Source of the Originals. (well, quite a lot of them anyway!). EDIT: just realised how old this thread is! Hopefully the OP has designed that T Shirt by now
