    Hi Guys,

I've dabbling into the world of 3D printing recently and came across this:

    https://pinshape.com/items/8827-3d-printed-apple-logo-led-nightlightlamp

Now although I don't have a real 3D printer at the moment (Man these things are pricey :( ),
has anyone tried making thing with a 3D printer before?

I have so many awesome ideas but I'm fairly new to it.

PS: Can you 'print' this Apple Night Lamp for me - I'll pay :) - Cheers!

PPS: Guys I just got a got an awesome stereolithography 3d printer by Formlabs. Let me figure it out a little bit and then I'll be posting my creations soon. Who knows, I might become a prototype expert - ha!

I too have several ideas for a 3D printer, starting with several different colour Apple logos for the covers of two of my iBook clamshells (these plastic logos on their own being practically impossible to find here in Europe).
I'll be getting a printer, but not before the prices take a drastic nose-dive - which is probably a few years away. Until then I can wait.

Yeah the price is messed up! Even the most decent one is around $500 or more. I like where the industry is heading though . . .

PS: You really can't find those logos? That's crazy! Try eBay the UK version. You might find something there.
