I found this article in the Opinion pages of the New York Times. It's an appalling account of a "foreclosure mill" whose employees actually dressed up as homeless people who were foreclosed upon for Halloween last year. It's absolutely appalling and if anyone has any doubts about how much "compassion" that entire industry has toward people I think this sums it up http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/29/opinion/what-the-costumes-reveal.html Clearly, not every single person at these places has these awful attitudes--since it was an employee who secretly sent these pictures in. However, I think this is a scary example of corporate culture. This attitude is why there are protesters on Wall Street. This whole industry has become morally detached.
