Well, if what you linked is true - what was the motive for the leak?

In my opinion Debbie Wasserman Schultz & her aide Imran Awan are having an affair and they are the DNC leakers.

interesting supposition...there is certainly some circumstantial evidence to back this up. Still, what's the motive for leaking?

Doesn't have anything to do with whether or not Russia interfered/tried to interfere with the election.

They at least had some technical details in the article, a far cry away from the left blubbering on about "Teh Russians" with no actual technical evidence.

There are "technical details" in a Star Trek episode, too, but that doesn't make it real. There's no attribution, no one going on the record. It's an opinion piece backed by technobabble.

The whole bit about "Speedtest" bothers me. It seems one is extrapolating "typical Americans have crappy internet service" to "everyone in America, including business customers, has crappy internet service"

The desperate Right will latch on to anything to distract from the investigations into Trump and his cronies.

So I guess we are stuck with both sides not being able to back up their ******** then. In which case it would default to someone who has access releasing the details because no proof of any other scenario has been provided, and the DNC sheltered the server after the "attack".

Speaking of the right wing neocon nuts, did they find Iraq's WMDs?

They did find chemical weapons years later, buried in the desert around Bagdad. Those were pretty much old stockpiles predating the 1991 gulf war.
NYTimes article from 2014 covers some of the details.

Then of course there's James Clapper's testimony in 2010 when Obama nominated him to be DNI.
He still believes that Iraq dismantled and moved material from their WMD programs to Syria in the run up to the war.

    Source
Nuclear material was allegedly found and removed in 2004. (BBC News source, take it for what it is)
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3872201.stm

Sites looted prior to inspection... (NYTimes article from 2005)
    http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/13/w...weapons-plants-was-systematic-iraqi-says.html

550 metric tons of "yellowcake" material was found and shipped to Canada for disposal. (NBC News 2008)
    http://www.nbcnews.com/id/25546334/#.WY4ZXa2ZPy8

These are just a handful of articles from reputable news sources (even left leaning) that raise doubt about the "No WMDs" mantra.

I do agree that the programs size was over inflated, but they did exist.

I do remember the yellowcake. That shipment in particular was from an old reactor.
