forum favicon?

Is there any chance of having a custom favicon for the forums instead of the default vB icon?

Just wondering.

yeah, it'd be much nicer if the standard macrumors logo, or even an apple logo could go up there.

Is "favicon" the official name, or an MS invention? To me it looks like "favourite icon", and as we know, only MS calls them favourites, everyone else calls them bookmarks.

I'd think it's both- The official name AND an MS invention, as that is the name of the icon for it to be displayed, eg https://www.macrumors.com/favicon.ico. I think the feature originated in IE, and then spread to other browsers, so it was easier to keep the original name.

That's the one we need! It can't be hard to overwrite the vB one with this. Any chance arn?
