I know, I know AIM (via iChat) has the capability to send messages to a mobile phone by typing in +1##########. That works fine.

But what I would LOVE is to somehow set my Verizon phone (LG VX8300, no AIM installed) to forward all texts to my AIM account. Here's why:

Simply put, I have no service at my house. So I will often get all my messages, (often important ones) as I'm leaving my house the next morning.

Is there anyway to have my phone forward just text messages to my AIM account so I can keep conversations and reply to the texts via iChat?

(Oh, and I hope this doesn't cost an arm and a leg)

Thanks!

Buy an iPhone.

I knew someone was going to say that.

Unfortunately, 1) That doesn't solve anything since I don't have service with any provider at my house, and 2) I'm not willing to switch to AT&T, even for an iPhone. (which I do love, btw)
