Thanks for the heads up, I was just saying in another thread, that I'm wanting to drop the subscription model. This will be good to investigate and possibly switch

Wow, Corel wins big on nostalgia points... Glad to see they're still a going concern.

I'll be interested to hear what people think of it. I'm still holding Aperture together with duct tape and baling wire, but that's not a long term solution. I really don't want to go to Adobe, in no small part because I think subscriptions are like retirement homes for software-- it kind of ensures there's someone there to look after it but you can be sure there won't be much in the way of improvements.

I was hoping a good alternative would come along (well, come to my attention). I'm a little bothered that the before/after examples on the website are so hit or miss-- some look better before, to my eyes. The "levels and curves" example blows out the whites after, and the "local contrast" totally sap the life out of that poor dog's eyes. But those are just examples to show one adjustment at a time...

I haven't gotten an email back as well (and I checked my spam folder).

Also I did some research and the RAW processing of the images appears to be inferior to ACR at least in the mid tone levels, it was reported they appear more muddier then ACR (and we know that ACR's RAW processing is not the best)

Who knew it was for the non pro version? There is a 50% off upgrade offer, but what's the difference in tools and results between pro and not pro?

Really? Wow, well, I've already written them off, after reviewing some news about the RAW processing. If I jump ship from LR and it looks more likely that I will as I don't want to keep paying the subscription, I want a product that has superior RAW rendering then ACR's mediocre RAW handling
