I really want to make the switch to iPhone BUT I have a question about AT&T Service plan since I'm new to it. The 70 dollar/mo plan says it includes unlimited mobile to mobile...does that mean at&t to at&t customers or is that to any mobile carrier? enlighted me.

Any AT&T wireless customer to any AT&T wireless customer.

Thats the way all the cell phone companies do it at a minimum. They want you to encourage people you talk to, to move to the same carrier.

Calls to another mobile carrier are NOT free mobile to mobile.

Nights and Weekends are generally defined as "Nights" from 9 p.m. to 5:59 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and "Weekends" as 9 p.m. Friday night until 5:59 a.m. Monday morning, in the time zone from which the call was placed.

I think it is 9:01pm.

Minor annoyance to note. With AT&T if you call another AT&T user at night, it doesn't fall under your Unlimited Mobile to Mobile, but rather your Nights and Weekends. Sucks because I have unlimited M2M and only a set number of NW minutes!!! Although I'm never going to use all 5000.

However. If you do use all your NW and THEN make a M2M call it'd count as M2M and you won't get billed, but on the flipside if they are all used up and you make an out of network call, you get billed for overage. A little bit BS in my opinion.

Wow on my iPhone I get unlimited NW. What plan are you on?

They do it for the same reason they have the family plans. They want you to recruit everyone you know over to AT&T. It means from one AT&T phone to another AT&T phone. Check your bill summary - you will see.

I hate that they charge something like 16 or 18 bucks just to move your nights to 7pm. What a load...every carrier has their "gotchas" though.
