    makes you wonder just how much the average chinese citizen knows about whats going on in their country and the rest of the world, no?

    I think thats maybe a little melodramatic. Most western countries don't block large portions of the internet or violently block protests. Granted, there are other countries that do, but not every country.

    Although who am I to say anything. I'm giving the Chinese government lots of money when I fly to Hong Kong this summer... d'oh.

    I'm not saying that the information is blocked in western countries, but that the majority of people in the west just accept what they're told.

    For instance, Iraq and 9/11. All lies, yet how many believed it?
