I was watching the Canadian French iPhone guided tour (there's no "French French" video yet), and I came across this:

These are two screenshots from the French and the Canadian iPhone site.

    1. How do you pronounce "iPhone" in French? The guy in the video says it like in English. I always say it eefon lol (I'm not French).

    2. One thing that grabbed my attention is that on the French page they typed "L'iPhone" and on the Canadian they used "Le iPhone"... is it just an error or is this Canadian French style? Becaue AFAIK they do contract when followed by a vowel/silence.

c'est tout, merci pour votre temps ;)

As "iPhone" is an artificial & unique word, there is no real translation into languages other than English, hence the usage of an accented "iPhone" in whatever language, phonetically corrected, not just French (watch the Japanese version).
