The reviews here should be enough to make an informed decision of whether or ****NOT**** to buy from them.

    Me neither ;-)

If she's looking to get a camera, I highly recommend ordering from Adorama. I've gotten all my gear there and it's been very painless.

Google on "Brooklyn Camera Scam", and it will tell you all you need to know about camera stores in NYC that sells stuff at too good to be true prices.

or check the site on www.resellerratings.com - most likely the package does not include over priced accessories. They migh say you need a special battery and try to charge you 10x the retail price of the battery. If you try to buy at the advertised price and refuse the extras you simply don't get your purchase - it becomes 'back ordered' forever.

I just checked on resellerratings, and they are definitely a bait and switch. They have 5 other names for the same store.

Never used Adorama, but Butterflyphoto.com has been good to me. :)

B&H Photo is generally considered the standard for camera gear (note though that they are closed until the end of Passover)

Your friend will be very sorry if she buys from that site or any sites like that...and there are hundreds of them.
