From i5 MM with Black Magic 580 eGPU to M1 MM. What to do with the eGPU?

I am moving the HT M1 MM that has been on 24/7 since new to my wife's desktop that she RARELY uses. She uses her M2 MB Air as her DD. She does not want to hook it up to the LG 4k display/mouse/KB as she is very tech challenged SMH I know ,I know... Doing so leaves the Black Magic eGPU as an orphan with no home.

Looking for ideas on what to do with the eGPU besides sitting it on a shelf for eternity.

I have yet to read of anyone using an external GPU with an m-series Mac.
Not saying it can't be done, I just haven't come into knowledge of anyone doing it.

That eGPU can either "go on the shelf", or "go up for sale"...

That's about the truth of it.

Really two options for you:
* Lowball on eBay, just to get rid of it
* It's actually a pretty cool housing/enclosure; might be something you could mod in some way for a new purpose if you're so inclined.
