hello folks,

i noticed when watching youtube videos, that there is a thick border on each side. Is this normal/anyway to get rid of it and really be in full screen mode?
Any input/suggestion greatly appreciated.

YouTube displays the aspect ratio of the video which are all in 4:3 format, so you will have bars.

Yeah, it's normal. You could zoom in to get rid of the outline - press control and use the scroll wheel on your mouse, or using the trackpad if you're on a MacBook.
