    Picked one up today for my mid-2009 Macbook Pro. Wanted to let everybody know and share the wealth.

    That's a good deal on that SSD! I picked mine up for $165 at Frys last fall.

    I couldn't find that offer. The closest I found was this: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-148-443
    $215 list - $25 (instant) - $30 (promo code EMCYTZT2886) = $160. However, if you are a new customer at NewEgg, it looks like you can also apply the NEWCUSTOMER promo code for another $10 off.

    Why not offer the Samsung 830 256GB for that price newegg! (You know they read my posts - wink)

    very very similar - I just need another Samsung 830 256GB to place in my MBP optical drive bay to run Raid 0

    The 830 is faster, but nothing noticeable in day to day use.
