well.... I guess that's up for debate... :)

thats the most beautiful screen ive ever seen

but it does look like it could have been easily photoshopped :-\

I vote fake

The dots aren't straight on the top of the monitor in the G5 and Monitor photo. And, the base(?) dots are disproportionately bigger in that photo than the other dots in the photo.

And, we never get high quality photos of an unreleased product.

Never.

wow. im not really a fan of going with the cheese grater look on the LCD's, but this is definitely a design I can live with.

how well does this fall in line with other rumors??

edit: the more i look at it the sexier it gets. i wonder (if this is real) if its adjustable inside the metal frame?

Instead of focusing on what is there, focus on what is not there.

The images of the monitors are fake because there is no place on the monitor to place a monitor light.

WTF is a monitor light?

I think it is fake, photoshopped, too.

King Cobra: very good point

plus the design is way to literal, not sure the design team would just copy paste elements from the G5. And the border is very distracting as well...

looks like some decent rendered images... ;)

still...they match nicely..and it's better than some of the crap I've seen in the past...

This is not a 3d render, but is actually clever manipulation of the g5 image in photoshop to make a monitor. If you look the main part of the screen is just a stretched g5 case. Looks nice nonetheless.

Does anyone recognize that background image? I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it before.

And now that I think about it, doesn't it seem a little fishy that it's a screenshot of Jaguar, not Panther? (look at dock...wrong Finder icon and the old iChat)

I think Apple would have refreshed the monitors at the same time as they introduced the G5s if they were planning on doing so in the immediate future.

Why push G5 sales and most likely the sales of the older monitors or 3rd party displays if you've got new stuff waiting in the wings?
