I should be getting my new Intelmac in the next week. I was a college AOE II junkie, so I am going to pick it up again and play online...

    Gameranger questions:
    1. Is gameranger what everyone uses?
    2. Do you like gameranger, or does it suck?

    These are more AOEII/gameranger questions:
    3. Are there games of AOE II and maybe Rise of Nations going all the time?
    4. Is there a pretty big disparity in skill level?
    5. What types of AOE II games do people play? Mainly 2vs2 or 3v3, 4v4, etc?

I used it when I played AvP. Wasn't a big fan of GR, but no other way to play AvP online that I knew of. Now no one on there plays it, at least not that I've seen, so I never go on.

When its the only game in town.... its great.

Really, when I played Ghost Recon (I think... the demo with the online play) on GR it was ok. Some weird moderater garbage happened which I had no recourse but what the heck, its a free game server system for Macintosh games. Not exactly a market everyone is gunning for.

Still, gripe aside, works well most of the time. I'll see you on GR when I get Starwars BF.
