I'm getting the new MBP maxed out. 8GB ram for now but will increase soon after. I'm looking to run a windows partition for some games like Star Wars Old Republic and some other only pc games. I also play Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. How will these run? How many gigs do you guys leave for a windows partition? I have the 750gb

Take a look at the system requirements on here:

And you tell me.

If you want the info without any research, here's the cliffnote: all those games will run perfectly fine.

And unless you truly need more RAM because you are a heavy user or multi-tasker, don't bother. More RAM will not help gaming, at all.

Those should run fine. They do on my rMBP, which is essentially the same hardware (GT650M, 2.7 i7, 16GB ram). You may need to turn shadows down. That's basically the only thing I generally need to adjust to get things running well.

On a 500GB SSD, I threw ~130GB to Windows, which is actually quite a bit more than I needed to. Probably could shave that down to ~100GB without missing anything, and still have plenty of free space on both sides.

Youll have no problem. I've been running just cause 2 at almost maxed 1680x1050 very well, and portal 2 maxed apart from AA off at 2880x1800 smoothly on the 2.3 retina with 1GB vram

I haven't played any super graphic-intensive games yet, but I have played league of legends on a VMWare Win7 virtual machine, and it runs flawlessly at 1680x1050 on medium-high settings. (And that's in a virtual machine...)

It should be pretty capable if you're running Windows natively (boot camp).
