Gap will give out free iTunes downloads to customers who try on Gap blue jeans but only in the stores that don't classify as "early back-to-school" stores.

The promotion will run from August 8th through the end of the August.

Link please? I can't see it on the Gap site. And is it US only?

So you only have to try them on, and not buy? Why not try on every pair and walk out with a free album or two :D

Yeah I know that probably wouldnt work - 1 per customer per store or whatever, still it'd be fun trying!

free song for trying them on, whole album for buying the jeans, NOW that would be a sweet deal in my opinion, too bad, i like Gap Jeans myself though, and i might just need a few new pairs anyways

That promotion sucked. I got 3 free song cards, and when I scratched off the silver stuff the code underneath was unreadable. I asked for replacement codes but they said the best they could do was mail me a $15 gift certificate. Ofcourse I never ended up getting that either.

The promotion is rather ironic, since the Gap and Banana Republic websites are now broken in Safari--have been for a week or so in fact.
