GarageBand - Truncating imported AIF?

I imported a drum track AIF so I could use a later part of the track as a backing for recording I'm doing. I deleted the notes from the first couple of minutes so now there is just silence, but I can't figure out how I can REMOVE all the silence and get the track to just start where I want it to. Help! :)
 
I figured out that I could highlight everything in the drum track and shift-left arrow it over to the beginning, now just need to get rid of all the measures of rest in the drum track. Any ideas?
