A nice take on a dilemma that shouldn't be a dilemma.
I love that.
I'd bet everything I own that was the last thing on your mind when you first entered this thread.
No- I saw who the poster was, so I knew it would be something like this.
That sign is so yesterday's news. MR lags behind in reporting haha
I remember this from years ago. Still funny.
Oh thank god a thread I can finally post my views in. Gay people are totally scary and evil. There's this guy on here who even dresses like he's the devil. He does that so he can make you think he's not really scary, but he's gay! Of course he's scary. Totally evil, at least, that's what my pastor says, and he's never been wrong. Ever! Ever!!
Ok, so since we finally have a thread the gays won't get in on, what do you want to talk about? Why do they seem so happy? I mean, really, what's up with that? Don't they want vagina? There just has to be something wrong with them. Plus, why do they dress so well? Vests? Really? Come on. No one wears that... with that...
Who here votes for a test so that gays can't even join the internet? Wouldn't that make, like, everything better.
[/M. Bachman sarcasm]
And yet someone sent it to me in an E-mail just last week, and G-mail flagged it as 'sensitive', or something, and I had to click to open it.
You need to put this in the title ABOVE your posts too.
Forewarned is forearmed.
On the Laurence O'Donnell show last night, MSNBC, he brought up that the concept of marriage= 1 man, 1 women is a very recent concept. But that is not what the current crop of Bible thumping GOP politicians want you to believe. Before 1700's 1 man, many women was common and in some cases 1 woman and several men. And the U.S. Government felt the need to pass laws outlawing polygamy twice. The Bible includes several references to polygamy, it does and it does not condemn it. It talks about picking up a second wife, the protections the first wife deserves.
I read the title and I was like oh man I'm gonna kill you for that,Then I saw the thread starter
This one is also old, but it holds so much truth...
I totally agree with this.
People dwell too much on little things throughout the Bible (rules for MOSES'S followers come to mind, pretty much the source of the "anti-gay" stuff you hear) and miss the main message which, to put it bluntly, is the same as in that picture.
If God didn't love gay people he wouldn't make them.
Side note: I always personally wondered if homosexuality wasn't natures way of regulating itself. Too many humans? Some start being born homosexual to prevent further breeding. It makes sense in my mind and I hope no one things I'm being offensive, thats not my intent.
Not offensive. Also not even close to how natural selection works.
I've said this many times. We were not all meant to breed. If we were, we'd be done as a species very soon. We serve a purpose, aunts and uncles who help our families along. We all contribute in some way. MY function for my nieces and nephews has always been "cool uncle Lee who lives in the city. He takes us to fun places in Chicago when we visit.". And I tell them that they can be anything they want to be, even though they are told otherwise back home. Funny, that seems to be the conservative message too, but it comes with limits- you can be what you want to be as long as they approve. There should be no limits. That's why I left Ohio for the city.
If we all multiplied, there would be serious problems in the world.
It caught me, I thought what now.
Think about it long enough...
I'd never seen the graphic in the original post, but I love it.
Y'know, when you send mail in Apple's Mail program, it makes a big SWISH sound.
Apple's obviously run by teh gays.
I know what you meant, but we do have cities here in Ohio, you know. At least three of 'em.
Problem is, too many of the ones who multiply also like to divide.
Not even close to being the same. Last time I was in Cowlumbus, there were people everywhere with t-shirts giving "glory to God" everywhere. Ohio is a scary place for people like me.
Thats OK, you could be ironic and say "Bless the Goddess" (Wiccan)
9gag, what a place.
Nah- I'd wear something like "Satan is my co-pilot". If you're gonna do it, do it right.
Psch, bascically no difference to most Christians...
Also, Rebecca Black in the front, Satan in the back.
IT"S FRIDAY BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!
Haven't you heard? Rebecca Black is no longer considered a spawn of the devil... it's the girls from Hot Problems. Go on YouTube, but be forewarned, you will instantly see your IQ drop by 40 points temporarily while you watch said video.
I may be the only person in the world who still hasn't seen that Rebecca Black video.
