    A rabbi??

I always held them in respect.

This must be a bunch of BS.

With three of the four knobs on the National Cathedral being sent awry, then perhaps the BP (Big Person) in the sky is really pissed. As far as I am aware I didn't assist in the tectonic shifts in any small way.

    The respect or BS?

Of all the religious zealots out and about, I always viewed rabbis as being .

The whole post actually. Maybe your run of the mill, local town conservative rabbi is cool but the orthodox leaders are just as bad as any of the more extreme nut case religious leaders.

A higher power is upset with the Republicans

Someone upstairs is obviously very upset by the current Republican candidates. Considering how much they are in the news, it couldn't possibly be anything else.

I think generally, you'll find that Jews are much more liberal, the rabbis included (the rabbi at my parents synagogue will gladly officiate a same sex wedding even though legally they're meaningless in Missouri), but even the chosen people have some nutjobs among them ;)

This guy seems to ascribe many bad things to gay marriage. Time for him to come out of the closet.

    Breaking news:

    It was not an earthquake..

It was Thomas Jefferson rolling over in his grave.

It's time you mere mortals realized the power of Teh Gheys. We can do anything- cause earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and just about any other terrifying thing you can think of. In short, we will rule you all and bring you to your knees, because that's just where we like you.:D

FFS- when will these idiots finally die out? This is just stupid.

You can't possibly be that naive.

Regardless, you may have to marry me soon and get me out of here. Let's see how the election goes.

Ok, so here are the main theories as to why the earthquake happened:

-God angry with gays (No evidence)
-God angry with Obama (No evidence)
    -Both (No evidence)
    -Natural occurrence (Science)

Now from the perspective of a conservative who believes in the bible but not in evolution and global warming, therefore not needing evidence to believe in something regardless of how unlikely and ridiculous it might seem while denying scientific evidence when it appears to support an "inconvenient truth", why would you not accept one of the first three options?

So gay marriage in NY caused an earthquake centered in Virginia. So either God can't shoot straight or is a vengeful dick who caused an earthquake that affected over a dozen states.
