I procrastinate too much. I'm still trying to get my school homework done. I wait till like an hour before its due.

I have two essays that were due last Wed! oops!

I would love to sit on a balcony over a view of trees and a small lake or a big pond. In a dark sky on a cloudless night, with the stars above twinkling everytime someone kisses their lover. With the sound of the wind, and the taste of a cool breeze with someone to cuddle with. Listening to the beat of their heart and their breathing.

Well my balcony looks down an avenue lined with large Oak trees... I can't see the lake from here - but it is about a 5 minute walk... the wind is rustling the leaves in the trees... mmmm oh hang on.... I'm sitting here by myself though?!!?!? DOH! Knew something was missing!!!!

My friends and I had a 2 hour long discussion on some very deep issues . We talked about honesty, images, and most notably - Hillary Duff . I had a jolly good time trying to describe why Hillary Duff having a bad voice isn't an opinion but a fact. I described to them why I am completely persona-less. I am up front about everything in my life, I'll answer any question as honestly as I can. They didn't believe me so they asked me a round of questions. I was proud of myself, I passed their test. I actually answered everything honestly and I wasn't embarrassed about any of it. Anyways... we had a long, deep conversation, it was fun . Topics included: Oprah, honesty, personas, celebritydom, opinion, and openness.

I'm mentally exhausted from the discussion, they really did grill me. I definitely was on the outside of the discussion. They were actually defending Hillary Duff. My argument against Hillary Duff is that there is absolutely no emotion in her music. Other than that, there is nothing good or notable. Her voice is drab and, to be blunt, bad. The music is manufactured and uninspiring. Her image is manufactured, fake, and superficial. She actually represents a lot of what I hate about the music industry.

No need to get myself worked up though .

But to answer your question, I'm finishing up an incredibly long essay.

I was at school, writing a program in Pascal (on a peecee )

...I'm going soon myself, but I'm nervous. Tomorrow night is the premiere of my new film and I can't help but be edgy. I know I told you guys before, but I wasn't happy with all of my performance in one of the sections of the trilogy. I have confidence that the editors and director will gloss over any imperfections, but I'm still freaked. A TON of people will see this film tomorrow. I want it to be good- mainly because I liked all the directors and don't want to let them down, but also because I want to keep working. I love this improv film group, and I want them to ask me back. So cross your fingers and please send me some good thoughts. This was also my first time as a lead, so maybe that's why I'm flipping out. All my other roles have been character/supporting. Besides, things can't be perfect. They don't have to be that way in order for everything to work out just fine.

I had thought about gooing out and photographing the likes of you. But nursing a bad cold, I am thinking about just staying home tonite.

If some sections of NYC are like our Dupont Circle or Georgetown areas, then you won't have to go in to a bar for fun.

I do worry sometimes about the path you are headed. I pray that you have the level head that you say you have. Forgive my doom and gloom, but I have seen too many a good person go down the path to self destruction. The all too common theme of the country boy in the big city.

I don't know how many people will know who you're talking about. Being from where I'm from, I know all to well, however. My grandma used to read me this book about Sambo when I was little. A friend of mine went to a party saturday in full blackface as Mr. Tambo. He was hilarious.
