What can affect the geekbench scores? If I used my phone before testing, will that give me a lower score than if I let the phone rest for a while before? And if I turn of like wifi and stuff before, will that affect the score?

My scores is different from time to time. I can get around 4100 - 4200 on single score and on multi I can get all from 9700 up to 10200 , is that normal? I have iPhone 8.

WiFi by itself is unlikely to make a difference. Apps that start updating in the background can make a difference, so putting the phone in airplane mode can improve the test.

The biggest effect is heat. There is no fan in the phone, so the best results are when it is cold and not used for a while. When it gets too warm the phone will slow down until it stops overheating. If you live somewhere warm then you might get worse results as the room temperature is higher.

The heat is trapped in the phone chassis and the room temperature has little effect on cooling.

Let the phone idle for at least 10 minutes before running a set of benchmarks.

Some benchmarks such as 3DMark easily overheat the iPhone and you will always get higher scores on iPad because of the larger cooling area.
